Service

ColdWatch is an operational temperature-monitoring service. It collects temperature and reporting data from sensors you connect, evaluates it against ranges you configure, and sends you notifications when a temperature alert starts, remains active, or recovers.

Your account and responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining your account, keeping your configuration accurate, and ensuring that anyone you add as a notification contact has agreed to receive the alerts you configure.

Dependence on third parties

ColdWatch depends on sensors, gateways, networks, carriers, the internet, and third-party providers. Their availability and performance are outside our control and can affect monitoring and notification delivery.

Alerts are an operational aid

Alerts are an operational aid and are not an infallible safety or compliance guarantee. You are responsible for responding to alerts and for maintaining your equipment and connectivity.

Notification delivery

We make reasonable efforts to deliver notifications, but delivery is not guaranteed. Email and SMS can be delayed, filtered, or not delivered. You should not rely solely on notifications for critical decisions.

Service availability

We aim to keep ColdWatch available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may perform maintenance or make changes that temporarily affect availability.

Acceptable use

You agree to use ColdWatch lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with it, or attempt to access it without authorization.

Ownership

ColdWatch and its software are owned by the ColdWatch service provider. Your data and configuration remain yours.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to ColdWatch for misuse, non-payment, or other reasonable cause, consistent with the operation of the service.

Warranty and liability

ColdWatch is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit our liability for damages arising from use of the service.
